Student Support

Student Support

At IH Dublin, we prioritise student services and welfare support to ensure every student feels supported and well-equipped during their stay. Our dedicated welfare officer is available for one-on-one meetings to address any concerns, and our Student Welfare Staff assists with everyday issues, providing guidance on all aspects of student life in Dublin.

We strive to make every student feel like a valued member of the IH Dublin family, ensuring their well-being and success.

Support Available All Day, Every Day

Our student services team is available all day at reception to provide support and advice on student life and experiences. We are here to ensure your time with us is smooth, enjoyable, and successful.

Our services include a warm welcome, induction and orientation sessions, placement tests and assessments, and a dedicated 24-hour emergency line for urgent needs.

Student Benefits & Partnerships

We also partner with recruitment groups hosting on-campus job fairs, volunteering organisations, doctors with reduced fees, counselling services, and more.

Academic Support

At IH Dublin, we prioritise academic support to help students achieve their learning goals. Our dedicated academic team is available every day during break times to provide assistance and answer any questions. We are committed to ensuring that each student has the resources and guidance they need to succeed in their studies.

Orientation and Welcome

On your first day, enjoy a free city tour to discover key landmarks and attend a welcome talk with all the essentials about the school and life in Dublin.

Long-Term Students

As a long-term student, you’ll take part in a one-hour induction to help you settle into life and studies in Dublin, and an exit meeting at the end of your course to review progress and plan your next steps. You’ll also receive an IH Dublin student card, giving you access to discounts across the city.

Student community

Our students become part of a diverse international community, often citing this as the highlight of their stay. Living and learning with peers from around the globe, you’ll form deep connections and lasting friendships while gaining new perspectives on the world.

Social responsibility

At International House Dublin, we are committed to fostering a sense of social responsibility among our students. Each season, we promote a dedicated social responsibility event, encouraging students to join and support a meaningful cause. These events provide an opportunity for students to give back to the community, develop a deeper understanding of global issues, and make a positive impact outside the classroom. Join us in making a difference and supporting worthwhile causes throughout the year.
