As you start your language learning journey with us, we want to ensure that you have all the information you need for your stay at IH Dublin. Whether you are already a student at our school or preparing to join us, we have gathered a comprehensive collection of information to address any doubts or questions you may have.

In the case of public holidays occurring on a Monday, students will begin their course with us on the Tuesday of that week. Public holidays are non-refundable.

Young Adult Programme only: If your programme falls within the 3rd of august, we will make up the hours on another day or arrange an alternative activity.

1. Health Partnership: GPDoc – Discounted GP Visits
 
Partnership with GPDoc, providing IH Dublin students access to discounted GP (general practitioner) visits.
  • Discounted Fee: €50 per visit
  • How to use: Visit the GPDoc website and select the IH Dublin Discount Option to avail of this benefit.
 
2. Counselling Services – My Mind
 
MyMind offers counselling and psychotherapy services both face-to-face and online. With over 200 experienced therapists, counsellors, and psychologists speaking various languages, they provide accessible mental health support for everyone. As a student you can avail from a reduced rate.
  • Services Offered:
    • Individual sessions
    • Children and adolescent therapy
    • Couple counselling
  • How to Access:
    • Register on the mymind.org/join
    • Complete a short questionnaire.
    • Book an appointment with a therapist of your choice.
 
3. Dublin City Volunteer Centre 

Dublin City Volunteer Centre is the one stop shop for volunteering, providing services for organisations and individuals in the Dublin City Council area.
We connect people with non-profit organisations based in Dublin city area. We can help you find suitable volunteer opportunities or give you advice on the how, what and where of volunteering in general without having to make a commitment.We provide a free volunteer referral service to any individual or group looking to volunteer in Dublin City.

4. Noel Group


We are proud to partner with the Noel Group, one of Ireland’s leading recruitment agencies, to support our students in accessing part-time and full-time job opportunities. Through on-campus recruitment events and ongoing collaboration, Noel Group connects IH Dublin students with employment across hospitality, customer service, and administrative sectors. Their expertise and nationwide network provide a valuable resource for our learners as they gain work experience and grow their careers in Ireland.

 

5. DIFC Foundation Programme

International House Dublin is proud to partner with Dublin International Foundation College (DIFC) to support students who wish to progress into higher education in Ireland. Through this collaboration, IH Dublin students can follow a clear academic pathway from English language study into university foundation programmes in fields such as Business, Engineering, Science, Medicine and Health Sciences. Our Pre-Foundation Programme and IELTS preparation courses equip students with the language and academic skills needed to meet DIFC entry requirements and successfully transition to their chosen degree pathway. Students can speak with our team to learn more about available routes, entry levels and upcoming information sessions.
