Vocational English (Ministay with Industry Focus)

Our Vocational English Programme offers students a dynamic and immersive learning experience focused on real-world vocational themes. Designed for learners who are considering future academic or professional pathways, this course equips them with the practical language and communication skills needed to succeed in international work environments.

Students explore key industries such as Aviation, Tourism, Finance, IT, Agriculture, Maritime, Hospitality, and Food & Beverage Management through interactive, scenario-based lessons and collaborative projects. With a strong emphasis on communication in the workplace, learners gain the confidence to discuss, present, and engage with industry-relevant content in English.

Whether preparing for further studies or career development, this programme supports students in applying English to meaningful, real-life contexts, while enhancing overall fluency and cultural understanding.

Accommodation Options

Host Family

Our host families, carefully selected by the IH Dublin Accommodation team, live in safe residential areas with good public transport links. Homestay offers the chance to practise English daily and experience Irish hospitality. Includes full board (breakfast, packed lunch, dinner), bed linen, and options for special diets. Distance to school: approx. 30–60 minutes by public transport (may vary at peak times).

Student Residence

IH Dublin offers modern, city-centre hostel accommodation just 10 minutes’ walk from the school. It provides comfort, safety, and lively communal spaces – an ideal base for exploring Dublin.
