Social Responsibility

At International House Dublin, we believe that language education is not just about grammar and vocabulary—it’s also about empathy, inclusion, and making a positive impact on the world around us.

Our commitment to social responsibility is reflected in the initiatives we support, the partnerships we build, and the values we promote across our school community.

Ongoing Initiatives

Free English Classes for the Community
Through our Teacher Training Programme, we offer free English classes to individuals in the local community, giving aspiring teachers hands-on experience while supporting those who may not otherwise access English education.

Scholarship Programme: Soul Social Project (Brazil)
We proudly collaborate with Soul Social Project to provide four full scholarships each year to students from underserved communities in Brazil. This life-changing opportunity allows them to study English abroad and broaden their horizons.

Support for Women’s Aid
Our ongoing recycling initiative benefits Women’s Aid, an organisation dedicated to supporting women and children affected by domestic violence. We aim to raise awareness while promoting sustainable habits within our school.

Volunteering Opportunities for Students
In partnership with the Dublin City Volunteer Centre, we connect our students with meaningful volunteer roles across the city, helping them develop soft skills, engage with the local community, and give back during their stay.

Student & Staff Fundraising Events
From bake sales to charity drives, we regularly host fundraising events in support of both local and international causes—encouraging community participation and social engagement.

And much more to come.
